Context

As part of UNDP's action plan on prevention of sexual harassment and sexual exploitation and abuse, the organization is review and updating existing UNDP information sharing platforms and tools to make sure that policies, procedures and guidelines are easily available to UNDP personnel.

Task description

We are seeking an Online Volunteer to support us by translating 2 documents on FAQ on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace from English to Portuguese. To this end the Online Volunteers are asked: - To translate the documents, which are 18 pages in total, into Portuguese - Ensure the translation is concise, in line with our communications guidelines, and fits the audience The selected Online Volunteer will be provided with the document in the original language and will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed. The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the Task Force on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace at UNDP and will learn about the ways in which the translated product contributes to making information easily available to UNDP personnel.
