Roles & Responsibilities of Finance Manager

· Responsible for overall financial management of the organization, under the guidance of Finance Director.

· Preparing UC’s of different project/donor as per their requirements of the donor’s in

prescribed/respective format.

· Assist Director Finance in preparing for the annual audits.

· Coordinate with the program team for budgetary control and ensure expenditures are aligned properly against the project budgets.

· To give her/his full contribution towards organizational culture and participate fully in the staff process.

· Ensure the timeliness of required financial reports to project managers, donors, partners.

· Ensure timely payments of vendor’s as well as staff salary and other payments also.

· Maintain financial records for each project or service in Tally in a manner that facilitates timely and accurate management reports at month end.

· Ensure statutory deductions for TDS, PT, EPF and others.

· Ensure timely grant receipts are prepared and submitted to the donors accordingly.

· Ensure weekly bank reconciliation to be done of every bank.

· Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects and services across all cost centres with an ability to provide information in a timely manner.

· Prepare and finalize timely and accurate submission of project financial reports

(Monthly/Quarterly/Annually) of the donors and get internal approval for submission.

· Ensure that all the financial documents are filed and maintained under safe custody.

· Supervise the account officers and admin/HR officer on day to day work.

· Ensure timely payment against all vendor bills.

· Verify all the bills and vouchers and ensure that the finance policy of the organization is followed.

· Preparing contracts, PO’s, work orders of vendors, contractors, TOR etc.

· Any other mandatory tasks that may arise from time to time need to be addressed.
