We are looking for an engaged Programme Manager – Value Selling, who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.

 

The Scope

Develop a team of passionate sales, market development and account management colleagues. Bring FSC to the next level in developing, linking, and communicating compelling commercial value propositions around FSC’s products and services. Structure and scale FSC’s market development and sales capabilities across programmes and products while meeting stakeholder needs and wants. Develop internal forecasting and target setting capabilities to strengthen FSC’s go-to-market.

 

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and improvement of compelling value propositions by identifying stakeholders, their needs and wants, and their ability and willingness to pay. Work collaboratively with product owners across programs to create proper sales, marketing, and communications materials.
  • Establish a structure to FSC International’s sales activities and capabilities, providing guidance to sales, market development and key account management roles in areas such as trademark and climate & ecosystem services.
  • Lead and guide multiple existing and future sales-relevant roles within the Markets & Communications Unit to drive sales and market development and interact with the FSC Network.
  • Develop information and training materials, and support and train the FSC Network and Certification Bodies in sales and market development-related activities.
  • Define, track, and forecast sales and market facing KPIs that drive success for various teams.
  • Any other task as assigned by formal supervisor and project work as assigned according to special organizational needs.

 

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Education and Training:
    • University degree, or equivalent training or experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Economics).

 

  • Working Experience, Style and Skills:
    • At least 5 years in a leadership role in one or more of the following: sales and market development, account management, and/or related fields
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of sales and market development professionals.
    • Experience in developing and scaling sales and market development capabilities across products and programmes.
    • Experience in developing structured approaches to managing key customer and stakeholder relationships across several countries and in a multicultural environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and senior professionals.
    • Ability to work well as a member of a multi-cultural, inter-disciplinary, multi-lingual, global team.

 

  • Computer Skills:
    • Experience with standard software packages (MS Office) and sales management tools, such as CRM systems, sales analytics, and reporting tools.

 

  • Language and Communication Skills:
    • Fluency in English.
    • Additional fluency in Spanish or French is a plus
    • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

 

Terms and Conditions

  • Location: Bonn, Germany.
  • Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week. Part time of 80% or more could be considered.
  • Duration of Employment: Temporary contract - 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
  • Starting Date: As soon as possible.
  • Travel: Sporadic travel is required.
