Objectives 1. To improve women peace efforts and security in the community for better development and sustainable initiatives in the community. 2. To promote women good governance and advocacy through increasing awareness on the public resources usage of various programmes and projects as well as promotion of community ownership 3. To promote awareness on women saving culture of the available resources management and impact skills to change mind set and adaptation to the skills. 4. To promote quality education, adult literacy programmes and affordable vocational skills to the vulnerable youth and women 5. Context

Communities are facing health challenges in paying health bills we are starting farming as an alternative income to support them get money and pay Hospital bills through National Hospital Insurance Fund(NHIF) and fight jiggers and chronic diseases in Western Kenya affecting women and children both in schools and communities so we are looking for 10 persons to assist write and advise on avocado farming in kenya. We are targeting 100 Household (HHs) for the pilot project in Cheptais sub-county Kenya. The online volunteers will support us with the following tasks: • develop a fundraising concept note proposal • share innovation ideas. • research potential donor organizations and funding opportunities . The role will be ongoing, for 12 weeks. Online Volunteers will never be asked or requested to solicit donations/funds from third parties.

Task description

We need online volunteers to support us with the following tasks: • develop a fundraising concept proposal for avocado to support families in fighting health challenges in Kenya, •share innovative fundraising ideas for avocado seedlings • research potential donor organizations and funding opportunities on avocado • help draft letters and correspondence, • write project proposals, • advise on how to approach donors. Volunteers will not submit funding themselves nor will submit any funding proposals on our behalf. The role will be end after 12 weeks
