Job Title: Communications Associate

Job Summary:

The Communications Associate will be responsible for content development and outreach through social media, website, reports, newsletters and online marketing. The Communications Associate is expected to be a strategic thinker, well-versed with creation of functional social media strategies and building Public Relations. The Communications Associate will work closely with the Program Managers in implementing and overseeing social media efforts across multiple initiatives of the foundation, including but not limited to shaping and executing digital marketing and social media and content strategies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing a communication strategy to optimise social media platforms. (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter , Linkedin, Myna Blog, TikTok- mynatalk and YouTube). Design, track insights and manage campaigns on social media.
Conducting research and writing press releases and content for the organisation website designs, drawings, data, reports, analyses, prototypes, documents, newsletter and other information aligned with branding and communication guidelines.
Generating blogs about the women and girls and upload bi-weekly posts on Myna Mahila blog.
Updating website regularly through the backend portal on wordpress.com
Maintaining digital donors and keeping newsletter subscribers up-to date by sending month end newsletters through mailchimp.
Taking charge of internal and external communications
Building and maintaining relationships with key-stakeholders such as influencers on social media, press partners, photographers and videographers.
Coordinating and managing the interns and volunteers at Myna.
Assisting with the coordination and supporting the Team with any upcoming projects.
Arrange and coordinate online campaigns for conferences and events aligned with the organisation's values.
Create a monthly report on insights from all online communication.

Social Media Management and Analytics
Design, build, and maintain the Foundation’s social media presence including posting, responding to queries on direct messages, and utilising interactive features to create and engage an active online audience. This includes management of social media strategies and editorial calendars for several organisational social media accounts
Grow Multiply and Creador Foundation’s presence through designated social media platforms
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including online advertising, social media ads, and SEO/SEM to increase website traffic and content impressions
Support the work of each program team looking to amplify their messages on social media or listen to their audience to analyze sentiment
Analyze campaign performance data to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and social media metrics corresponding to determined goals (ROI and KPI)

Skill set:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a relevant field(essential).
Experience in communication, PR, marketing, or a related field.
Knowledge of website analytic tools - wordpress.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in email, MS-office, G-suite, Canva, Photoshop and associated communication platforms.
Excellent proof-reading, verbal and written communication skills.
Strategic and creative mindset, ability to work independently.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess the following:
Experience or understanding of the non-profit space
A proven track record of preparing presentations and reports
Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to set priorities and handle multiple, competing time and resource demands
Energy, professionalism and composure under pressure
A good communicator (conversationalist, presenter and writer) who can articulate Creador Foundation’s efforts and initiatives to a broad audience
