You actively shape the development of a center of excellence for applied research at the University of Makeni and advise on: Data collection, publication, and the link to practical application at the community level.
You will teach staff valuable research methods and techniques.
They undertake teaching activities in the area of resource equity and guide students on their journey.
You will supervise graduate students in the planning, development, and implementation of research projects.
Together with students and UNIMAK staff, you will promote collaboration with local communities.
You will be responsible for the proper spending and management of funds on site according to donor guidelines and AGIAMONDO requirements. In doing so, you will work in partnership with UNIMAK.

You have a university degree in a relevant field.
You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in scientific work, research and teaching.
Your excellent communication and teamwork skills set you apart.
Your motivation to work in the field of community-based development is palpable. You appreciate the value of collaboration in a multicultural environment.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are mandatory.
You are an EU citizen or Swiss citizen and identify with the goals and concerns of church development and peace work.
