Your tasks

  • Programme development and implementation for the psychosocial support and self-care of university students and employees. Developing and providing appropriate training and support materials.
  • Creating space and dialogue to meet and address issues such as reconciliation.
  • Organising offerings including physical activities (sports, yoga, etc.) and self-care to help deal with experiences of violence, trauma and stress.
  • Establishing and maintaining networks with experts in the field to develop and maintain a good standard of psychosocial services for the target groups.
  • Working together with the Catholic University's Institute for Justice and Peace Studies (IJPS) to organise students.
  • Assuming responsibility for the proper disbursement and administration of funds on site in accordance with the sponsor guidelines and AGIAMONDO specifications in close collaboration with CUofSS.

 

Your profile

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, social sciences or another relevant subject.
  • Several years of professional experience in trauma work with (young) adults; knowledge of reconciliation work is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience in programme development as well as working in a multicultural environment.
  • Initial working and living experience in South Sudan is advantageous.
  • Class B driver's license as well as business fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous. 
  • EU or Swiss citizen and identification with the goals and concerns of church development and peace work.
