Context

Following the earthquake which happened in Morocco on the 8th September 2023, UNICEF Morocco, in its preparedness to face this emergency, is recruiting an Online United Nations Volunteer who will be supporting in drafting social media supports in this context. During emergencies and humanitarian contexts, children suffer first and the most and are especially vulnerable to disease, malnutrition and violence. UNICEF focuses on these children and their families to provide them with the essential interventions required for protection (including protection from sexual exploitation and abuse), to save lives and to ensure the rights of all children, everywhere.

Task description

We are looking for an Online Volunteer/s who, under the guidance of the Head of the Education Section and in close collaboration with the programme team, will support us by producing four graphic designs for Social Media Posts. In particular, the Online Volunteer is asked to: - Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.; - Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse focal (PSEA) point/ programme team; - Develop the design according to agreed requirements. Deliverables: - PSEA messages for frontline workers, parents and children (3 posts); - Messages on environment for community members (1 post); The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the Education and other UNICEF sections and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support the office during the emergency crisis.
