UNDP and OCHA seek to chat online with Asia & Pacific professionals

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are participating in this month's Impactpool online career event for development & humanitarian professionals from Asia and the Pacific.

Impactpool is happy to present this virtual event to support our partner organizations in reaching their geographic diversity goals and offering our qualifying members, a chance to chat directly with HR representatives from these influential multilateral agencies.

Talent acquisition teams are shifting their focus beyond the traditional outreach methods and embracing new technologies to access talent easier and more remote. Mobile and social recruiting are on the up, as well as the use of online talent platforms to source in-demand external talent.

UNDP and OCHA are embracing technology advancements by joining the 5-hour virtual event, with an aim of empowering and engaging with qualified nationals from the Asia and Pacific region. 

Who should attend? If you are pursuing a career with a positive impact, for Junior to senior-level candidates, with 3+ years of international work experience and an Advanced University Degree.

The participating organizations tend to seek candidates with professional experience in Humanitarian aid, Coordination and Affairs. Sustainable Development and impact, Democratic governance and Peacebuilding, Climate Change and Disaster Resilience.
Kindly note, that you need to have a relevant profile and experience to be granted entry into the event


The essential requirements for entry

  • 3+ years of relevant international work experience (does not include internships)
  • Post-graduate Degree (Bachelors is considered with additional work experience)
  • Multilingual skills (You must be fluent in English) 
  • From a qualifying nationality
