Task description

We are looking for up to two (2) experienced Online Volunteers who, under the supervision of the experts from the Inter-factional Union of MPs “Strategic Foresight of Ukraine”, will support data gathering and analysis within the framework of Strategic Foresight “Futures of Russia: Impact on the Futures of Ukraine and Europe”. The initiative envisages research, analysis and reporting tasks within the Horizon Scanning stage of the Strategic Foresight Project, which will be required during May - June 2024. This will be a combination of email exchange and Zoom calls for work coordination with experts, and individual work on data gathering. More specifically, the Online Volunteers will be responsible for: - Identifying reliable data sources in Japanese for horizon scanning, following specific guidelines provided by the team. These guidelines will help pinpoint good sources for detecting weak signals and emerging trends relevant to our strategic objectives. - Conducting comprehensive research to identify signs of change across all areas covered by the STEEPED categorization (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Political, Ethical, and Demographic). Analyze the gathered data and document the insights according to pre-defined format. - Aggregate the researched data and produce knowledge products in English, if needed.
