With reference to the current opportunities to apply to the UNV we asked our COO, Henrik Rydén for some tips to potential applicants, and to explain how you tentatively can calculate your compensation as a UN Volunteer.

“Many individuals who are interested in UNV positions get surprised when they understand that the volunteer assignment comes with compensation. Even more, get surprised when they understand that the Volunteer Living Allowance covers the living costs at the location and sometimes even allow for some savings. But the best part is of course that a UNV assignment is one of the best door openers to a UN career”, says Henrik.
