In 2016 Cisco Systems set a mission to positively impact 1 billion lives by 2025.
The multinational technology conglomerate is halfway to its goal, with 530 million people already benefiting through its social impact grants and signature programs.

As Cisco continues its Impact mission, the company seeks to reach out to women working in STEM roles who can positively contribute to the mission.

Cisco has joined the upcoming Impacpool Virtual Career Fair Women in STEM, taking place on 22nd March 2022. The organization seeks to engage with women professionals who have Technical backgrounds in Computer Science, Silicone and Optics Technology, Data Science and Analysis, Test, Quality, Software, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Demand Planning and Cloud Specialists.

Technology can create a more inclusive future

Cisco supports those who are using technology to solve the world's greatest challenges, such as hunger, economic inequality, and lack of access to education.

Cisco's Supply Chain Operations team is the team that will attend the virtual event on March 22nd. A global organization of more than 2,200 employees who are committed to excellence, innovation, resiliency and making a positive global impact. They optimize Cisco's supply chain-from development to delivery. With a diverse and inclusive workforce, Cisco drives governance for human rights principles and worker safety across all suppliers. They now seek more than ever, the placement of more women in these crucial tech roles in various regions and levels of seniority.

We encourage women with relevant backgrounds to attend the virtual event and engage with HR staff at Cisco and other leading International and Intergovernmental organizations.

  • Increase in teacher capacity via better access to quality education resources and training, and improvements in student outcomes in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
  • Equitable access to financial services, employment and increased income via skills training for career development, and increased revenue and jobs created for entrepreneurs.

Cisco has set long-term goals to address the environmental impacts - investing in a regenerative and sustainable future.
The Cisco Foundation is committing $100 million over ten years to fund nonprofit grants and impact investing in climate solutions.
