For some of our readers, retirement may feel like a long time away. For those who are close to retirement (or those who are retired), you earned it. You now have more free time (and hopefully financial stability) to do what you've always wanted. If you retire, for example, at age 65, you will likely have many more years to enjoy your life. Unlike previous generations, retirement from your current career may not necessarily mean your last life/career transition.
Some organizations provide their staff with the financial aspect of retirement advice. While it is important, financial stability alone may not give us meaning, purpose, and fulfilment in retirement. In this article, I will focus on the non-financial aspects of retirement planning.
