United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, recently launched the System-wide Strategy on Gender Parity.
Impactpool’s methodology for sourcing and outreach as well as our effective execution of the Senior Women Talent Pipeline have all been recognized in the strategy as Best Practice.
The SG presents an ambitious strategy that contains several operational recommendations related to the establishment of system-wide talent pools (pools are mentioned more than 30 times in the strategy). His vision with these pools is to coordinate UN organizations to collectively build up talent pools and share talents between each other, allowing a more proactive and effective sourcing, outreach, search and hiring of qualified women.
Using pools the way the Secretary-General envisions is the methodology that Impactpool already uses for existing pool management services. Today Impactpool sources talent to more than 125 organizations that share the goal to make the world better!
Impactpool’s response to the SG’s System-wide Strategy on Gender Parity
Impactpool initiates the second phase in our strategy to build the world’s largest diverse pool of Talents.
The Impact Talent Pool will contain committed professionals at all career levels, from every country of the world, representing all cultures and religions, speaking every possible language, representing all expertise areas that our partners need, hoping to make an impact and willing to work there where the need is most urgent.
Gender Parity and Diversity has been our main focus ever since we were founded. Today we have more than 235.000 members out of which 55% are women representing 195 nationalities, covering all UN languages. What makes us unique is also our growth, we grow the pool by 2000-5000 new members per week.
Celebrating the UN Week and the United Nations Secretary-General System-wide Strategy on Gender Parity, Impactpool is sponsoring our members with free upgrade to our premium service - the Fellowship.
