The MPPMSD offers the ideal package of knowledge anyone aspiring to earn an advanced degree in public procurement can wish for.

I attended the 11th Edition of the Master in Public Procurement Management for Sustainable Development (MPPMSD) from October 2016 to October 30, 2017, and can certainly vouch that the MPPMSD is indeed a flagship public procurement program.

The MPPMSD offers the ideal package of knowledge anyone aspiring to earn an advanced degree in public procurement can wish for. I say this because the program is the combination of law, economics and procurement management-a blend that provides sufficient insights to participants about the legal instruments that influence public procurement globally; the motivations behind the choices and tradeoffs that public procurement practitioners make in the management of scarce public resources; and importantly, the significant role public procurement plays in protecting the environment.

Another standout attribute of the program is the fact the courses are enriching, relevant and are delivered by arguably the best professors and practitioners in the fields of law, economics and public procurement management.

It is worthwhile to state that the MPPMSD provides participants the opportunity to gain deep insight into public procurement in other countries through interactions with colleague participants. These inter-country interactions provide direction and guidance for addressing some of the challenges affecting local public procurement systems.

Completing the MPPMSD remains by the biggest professional development so far.
