Are you a Human Resources expert dreaming of a career at the United Nations? Now is the time to update your CV (or P11 as it is called by the UN). One of the largest UN programs with offices in 150+ countries is now recruiting 15 HR professionals, at different hierarchical levels, to implement their new HR strategy. Find more information about the jobs and application deadline at the end of this article.

One of the larger UN programs is now staffing up to deliver its new HR strategy. With this new strategy, their office of Human Resources has formulated the ambition to be at the leading edge of HR in the International Organizations sector by developing high quality and innovative human resources solutions and driving transformation across the whole organization.

Over the past years, this organization has faced a lot of internal turmoil. On an organizational level, they have gone through several recent restructuring processes where costs have been cut by lowering the number of staff, but also by moving staff from HQ to lower-cost locations. Following a decision from the UN Secretary-General last year, they lost their most important role and function in the UN system to another UN agency. This situation and change has made this organization struggle to find its new role in the UN family. Also, the office of Human Resources has gone through turmoil, several Directors have been recruited and for different reasons stayed for just a short time period.

Now, however, the turmoil seems to ease, the most recent Director has been in office for a few years and last year they launched a new HR strategy that has been praised both internally by staff and managers, and externally by partners and experts.

In this renewed and dynamic framework, this organization is now seeking high caliber human resources professionals with a strong HR background, and the capacity, commitment and attitude needed to generate a culture characterized by innovation, entrepreneurship and a focus on delivering transformative outcomes.
