Are you or will you be “accompanying” your partner/spouse to this new place of work in a foreign land as part of working for the UN/NGOs/multilaterals etc.?

What is happening with your current occupation, the business you just set up, your volunteering engagement and your network at your current location? Are you concerned about your career progression? Do you wonder if you are even allowed to work or can even find something to do, something meaningful in the confines of the new country you will be living in? What is going to happen with YOU, the Project you have been “working on” and all that makes You “YOU”?

In a coffee chat style Chibesa and Jens, both experienced accompanying spouses, will host a conversation about living and working overseas as an accompanying spouse/partner and the potential challenges of professional life overseas. The conversation will bring to life and answer these and other questions. The coffee talk will be facilitated interactively and participants are encouraged to ask questions and share any experience.
