Tips on how to land a Communications job in the Development sector?

Generally speaking, communications professionals are recruited internationally. Meaning that you will find most opportunities outside your country, however what is special for communications position is that sometimes nationals of a certain country are recruited on an international contract to her/his country of nationality. This is sometimes happening for donor countries with smaller populations and in situations where it is difficult to find talent with appropriate local language skills outside the country.
