Kudumbashree – Kerala State Poverty Eradication Mission is a National Resource Organization (NRO) recognised by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, for providing technical and implementation support to other States in India as part of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). As the NRO, Kudumbashree shares its expertise and best practices with other States and helps them develop interventions in the area of Convergence between Panchayati Raj Institutions and Community Based Organisations and creating support systems to promote rural micro enterprises. The job notification is for positions under the Enterprises domain in foodservice & sectoral clusters & for non-farm intervention projects. The positions will be based out of multiple partner states and/or Kudumbashree NRO head office.
Kudumbashree NRO is recognised as a National Resource Organisation (NRO) by DAY-NRLM, Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD). One of the major roles of Kudumbashree NRO is to support non-farm livelihood projects & interventions across partner states in collaboration with NRLM and partner SRLMs. Looking at the potential of non-farm programs on rural livelihoods, the role of NRO is evolving to support national capacity building, knowledge management, monitoring & evaluation & innovation linked interventions.
Kudumbashree NRO is looking for passionate development professionals (with or without professional experience) to become a part of the organization & support non-farm livelihood interventions across the country.

Position: State Project Coordinator - Enterprise Domain
Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of enterprise promotion programs within the NRO Enterprises domain.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with partner states, SRLMs, and other relevant agencies to foster strong partnerships and ensure effective coordination.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Develop and deliver training programs to build the capacity of program beneficiaries, mentors, and trainers in entrepreneurship and related skills.
  • Program Evaluation: Conduct periodic evaluations and assessments to measure the impact and effectiveness of enterprise promotion programs.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of best practices, success stories, and lessons learned to enhance program outcomes and learning.
  • Resource Mobilization: Assist in identifying and mobilizing resources, including financial, technical, and human resources, to support program implementation.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation, including progress reports, financial reports, and case studies.
  • Monitoring and Support: Provide guidance and support to partner states and SRLMs in the implementation of enterprise promotion initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to program guidelines, standards, and policies to maintain program quality and integrity.
  • Networking and Collaboration: Represent Kudumbashree NRO Enterprises domain in relevant forums, conferences, and workshops to foster networking and collaboration opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Masters in Social work/ Media and Cultural Studies/Development communication /Rural Management/ Development / Development journalism or an equivalent course from an institute of repute - Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Azim Premji University, Indian Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)
  • Strong understanding and willingness to work in the field of community based strategies.
  • Exceptional reporting, documentation skills and research capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of other regional languages will be an advantage.
  • High level of self-motivation, initiative, and creativity.
  • Willingness to travel for work.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office suite.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Terms of appointment
The appointment to all the above positions shall be on an annual contract basis. The contract may be renewed, subject to review of performance of the incumbent and continuation of the NRO Project. Consolidated monthly remuneration fixed according to the pay details as approved will be paid.

Selection Process
The applicants will be selected through a multi-stage selection process:
  • Short-listing of suitable candidates based on review of application & Statement of Purpose in the prescribed format (SoP of not more than 250 words).
  • Telephonic interview round-I (Need based)
  • Case studies/Assignments based assessment.
  • Telephonic interview round-II (Need based)
  • Presentations and/or Personal Interviews for final selection.
