The organisation was established in 1975 and registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961. Our operational area encompasses the Sundarbans (South & North 24 Parganas), Kolkata, East Medinipur and Alipurduar District of West Bengal, India.

Responsibilities:
⢠Preparation of software for data entry for tracking of various Projects
⢠Maintain and update the organization's databases, including donor databases, beneficiary information, and program data
⢠Generate reports and dashboards that provide insights and analysis of the organization's activities, outcomes and impacts
⢠Developing the findings as Reports for use as advocacy tool with the stakeholders;
⢠Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of the data
⢠Communicate directly with community organizers and volunteers
⢠Reconciliation of Primary and Secondary data
⢠Traveling extensively in project areas for first-hand information
⢠Coordinate the process of data collection, data entry, analysis and share the findings with the community
⢠Collect, organize, and maintain data related to various programs/projects, beneficiaries, donors, and other relevant information;
⢠Performs other duties and responsibilities as required;
⢠Implement database software and systems to enhance data management;
⢠Integrate different software systems to ensure smooth data flow
Essential Qualification and Experience:
⢠MCA or BCA with minimum 2 yearsâ experience in development sector Or
⢠A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline is often required.
⢠Proficiency in using database management systems
⢠Knowledge of IT infrastructure and basic troubleshooting skills
⢠Good communications and presentation skills - write, read and speak in English & Bengali.

⢠Experience in working with time bound projects
⢠Proven strategic, conceptual and analytical skills
⢠A self-starter, able to work independently

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
