Work Arrangement: Hybrid SCOPE OF WORK:The Case Management Victims Services Intern on the Safety & Wellness Team provides intensive case management to survivors of torture, victims of crime, victims of human trafficking, survivors of combat, and asylum-seeking families living in Arizona. They will work closely with the program caseworkers and Wellness Team to provide culturally competent, comprehensive services to refugee, foreign national, and immigrant survivors of war, violence, displacement, and trauma. Interns will learn how to provide trauma-informed, person-centered, strengths-based services that promote health and safety, inspire confidence, respects choice, and assists survivors towards self-determination as they become active members of their community. RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES: REQUIREMENTS: Note: This is an unpaid internship. Intern must commit to at least 10-15 hours per week for a 3-month minimum. Internship hours are completed between Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM This position reports to the Safety and Wellness Manager. IRC leading the way from harm to home.
