Are you passionate about sustainable water management and making a real difference in rural communities? Tarun Bharat Sangh is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Watershed Management Specialist to join our dedicated field team. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing integrated watershed management plans (IWMPs) to ensure the responsible use of water resources in our project areas.

Key Responsibilities:
⢠Job responsibilities will include project planning, technical design of structures, cost estimation, implementation management, quality assurance, monitoring, reporting.
⢠Responsible for collection, evaluation and analysis of socio-economic, land use, soil, water related and other empanelled information related to watershed.
⢠Responsible and accountable for project interventions in field areas, collaborating closely with the Project Manager.
⢠Develop and maintain positive relationships with government officials, community members, PRI members, and other stakeholders.
⢠Along with other activities, promote, administer, and manage watershed activities and ground water management programmes.
⢠Adhere to all routine reporting requirements on a timely basis and plan and conduct periodic programme review meetings accordingly.
⢠Any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager, as well as providing hands-on support when necessary.
⢠The position requires extensive movement to the field.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
⢠B. Tech./ B.E in IWMP, Civil Engineering or relevant stream
⢠A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant field experience is required.
⢠Fluency in Hindi and English is required.
⢠Strong computer skills with an exceptional command of Auto-Cad, MS Excel, Word, and Power-point, as well as other engineering software and equipment required for the job.
⢠Experience working in the development sector would be an added advantage (PRA tools and techniques and sensitive towards community).
