Qualifications

Education:

  •  University degree in Agricultural or Environmental engineering, or any relevant field.

Work Experience:

  •  Minimum 2 years previous experience working in economic recovery and livelihood programs, including cash-for-work activities, support for agricultural initiatives, vocational training, and partner management; NGO experience an advantage
  • Statistics, data analysis, data-driven computation are all relevant areas of experience
  • Knowledge about the Syrian context is a significant advantage.

Proven Technical Skills:

  • Experience with descriptive data analysis and/or data management.
  • Able to think critically about data and information, triangulating and cross-checking when needed and with minimal guidance.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel).

Competencies in Managerial/Leadership:

  • Good analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time leadership skills and being able to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and social skills and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English, Arabic and Turkish are desired

Key Working Relationships:

  • Position Reports to: Deputy ERD Coordinator.
  • Position directly Supervises: N/A
  • Key Internal Contacts: ERD field team, IRC other sectors staff
  • Key External Contacts: Implementing partners, Local authorities, related clusters and working groups.
