The Information Technology Department (ITD) is looking for an Associate in business analysis who will work as a domain expert in AIIB’s corporate function business, who will look into the business processes, digital capabilities, needs and technology gaps, and identify, implement, and support appropriate business solutions for various corporate functions.

The selected Associate will work in a start-up, fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. The Associate will have the opportunity to drive IT process design and will be exposed to cutting-edge cloud technology and a multilateral development bank’s business environment where they can hone skills in business analysis, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, communication, project management, risk management etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between IT department and business department and work as subject matter expert for corporate functions domain, including but not limited to HR functions, budget functions, travel & expense functions, corporate procurement functions, administrative services functions etc.
  • Lead the business requirements gathering and prioritization, business process modelling, impact analysis, feasibility studies, and solution proposing for business departments. Support solution design and full project cycle delivery.
  • Works closely with multiple corporate functions departments to analyzes business processes, understanding the needs and requirements of the stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the business process documentation and business requirements documentation, be responsible for retaining and transferring business knowledge internally.
  • Support project managers to build/enhance systems for corporate functions domain as lead business analyst.
  • Provide enhancement and operations support for IT systems used by corporate functions, including but not limited to analyzing new initiatives and processing changes, supporting production troubleshooting, enhancing the quality of ongoing IT products and services, and utilizing IT data for more business insights etc.
  • Work closely with various IT teams - such as infrastructure, data management, IT security, and risk management - to ensure full coverage of IT requirements when rolling-out new products and services to business users and maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring.
  • Ensure that processes comply with IT governance processes and procedures, and AIIB’s audit and control requirements.
  • Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, both internal and external.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of working experiences as business analyst involved in corporate function business.
  • Experiences in at least one domain of the bank’s corporate function, such as HR functions, budget functions, travel & expense functions, corporate procurement functions, administrative services functions etc.
  • Good understanding of MDB business, experiences in MDB business is a big advantage.
  • Business analysis experiences in SAP systems will be a big plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of requirement elicitation and specification, process flows, and developing business use case scenarios.
  • Strong business and technology acumen.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of process modelling, agile and waterfall IT system rollout methodologies.
  • Results-oriented with an ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
  • Pays attention to details.
  • Effective communication and engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in oral and written English is a must.
  • Strong learning capability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, business administration, or related fields, from a reputable university.
