UNAIDS is leading the global effort to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. The mission of UNAIDS is to lead, strengthen and support an expanded response to HIV and AIDS that includes preventing transmission of HIV, providing care and support to those already living with the virus, reducing the vulnerability of individuals and communities to HIV and alleviating the impact of the epidemic. UNAIDS seeks to prevent the HIV/AIDS epidemic from becoming a severe pandemic.

Context

The document "Regional priorities for the response to HIV in the West and Central Africa region (2023-2026)" aims to define the regional priorities for addressing HIV in the West and Central Africa region from 2023 to 2026. This document serves as a comprehensive guide for stakeholders involved in the prevention, treatment and management of HIV/AIDS in the West and Central Africa region. The main objective of this project is to design an 83-page document that effectively communicates the regional priorities for the response to HIV in West and Central Africa for the specified period. The document shall be informative, visually appealing and easy to navigate for its target audience. This task contributes to the organization's objectives by furthering its mission to address HIV/AIDS in the West and Central Africa region. By creating a comprehensive document outlining regional priorities for the response to HIV, the organization aims to provide valuable guidance and resources to stakeholders involved in HIV prevention, treatment, and management efforts. This volunteer contribution aligns with the larger project or program aimed at reducing the prevalence and impact of HIV/AIDS in the specified region by ensuring that stakeholders are well-informed and equipped to address the challenges effectively.

Task description

We are looking for one online volunteer to support us with the design of our organization regional priorities document. The online volunteer will be asked to do: - Initial design concepts for the document "Regional priorities for the response to HIV in the West and Central Africa region (2023-2026)" (83 pages) for review and comment. - Revise design based on stakeholder feedback. - Finalize document in print-ready and digital formats, including source files. The document should follow the guidelines in the UNAIDS Brand Builder and Style Guide.
