Mission and objectives

Academic mobility center structure is the following: 1. Organisation presidium - consists of a minimum of 3 people and defines the strategy, activities and partnership cooperation. Today we have eight presidium members. Every member has a right to vote for the decision, and all decisions are accepting on a qualitative majority system. 2. President - a member of presidium who has executive power in the organization. President can appoint his/her deputy - vice-president and other work members who are not obligatory presidium members. 3. Stewardship Council - a group of honourable people who gather two times per year to estimate the progress of the organisation and give the recommendations. Their recommendations do not have any influence on the organisation work. 4. Founders of an organization are people who have established the organisation. Nowadays the founder is Maksim Orlov who is currently a president of the organisation.

Context

Studmart is an analog of UNIDAYS platform to be launched in Russia. The goal of the project is to unite students and business by facilitating and supporting life of students in Russia as well as providing active assistance to business growth. This project is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and is not for profit. The project supports two SDGs: 17th Goal as the primary goal is to create a website that unites business and students as for prosper partnership. 4th goal as the project supports a quality of education by providing opportunities for young people to be educated and gain a practical experience through volunteering in a web development. The project is monitored and estimated by professors of Ural Federal University in Russia, so volunteers obtain a professional expert support during volunteering.

Task description

Volunteers will be developing a web product using required IT skills and knowledge. It is expected to select 5 volunteers, where 2 of them will provide a back-end development, other two - front-end, and last one - team leading and code revising. For back-end volunteers it is expected to develop a code that would be a basic hard-code that supports functionality of website. For front-end it is expected to develop a code for better user's usage according to young generation perception. Vounteers will be working together with a Russian team of developers, using Jira and Notion. Proficiency in English is required.
