Mission and objectives
The United Nations Resident Coordinator Office supports the work of the UN Resident Coordinator. The UN Resident Coordinator leads the UN country team in consultation with the Government to define and agree on the UN strategic response to the Government’s development priorities.
Context
The purpose of this assignment is to provide video editing support to the United Nations Eritrea Resident Coordinator's Office in its efforts to contribute towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The edited videos will play a crucial role in enhancing the organization's communication and outreach efforts, facilitating mass outreach to raise awareness about key development issues.
Task description
The online volunteer will be responsible for delivering the following tasks within the specified timelines: a) Video Editing: 1. Edit raw footage into cohesive and engaging videos, including promotional videos, interviews, event coverage, informational videos, and other relevant content. 2. Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustment, and visual effects as needed. 3. Add appropriate transitions, titles, captions, and graphics to enhance the overall visual appeal and communicative value of the videos. 4. Ensure a smooth flow and narrative coherence in the edited videos. 5. Collaborate with the project team to understand video requirements, target audience, and key messages. 6. Deliver final edited videos in the required formats suitable for online platforms and presentations.
