Work Arrangement: Fully Remote Situated within the US-side of the Resettlement, Asylum and Integration Department, the headquarters Resettlement Team supports the implementation and quality of services for refugees within their early resettlement period. The team guides IRC local office staff in implementing high quality Reception and Placement, Matching Grant, and Preferred Communities Programs by providing technical assistance, training and monitoring. In coordination with other senior program leads, this position will refine and implement the monitoring and evaluation framework used to maintain program quality and funder compliance. The position will also be responsible for carrying out on-site and remote monitoring of IRC offices; tracking compliance metrics; and training staff in monitoring protocols and managing the IRC’s internal monitoring schedule. The SPO’s team will support offices with donor monitoring visits and ensure the team aligns protocols and procedures with the overall goals of all resettlements programs as well as RAI’s strategic objectives, within Resettlement, Asylum and Integration Department. The Senior Program Officer supervises four to five staff and reports to the Senior Director for Resettlement. Major Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Job Requirements: Successful candidates must possess deep knowledge and experience with the Reception and Placement Program, Matching Grant and Preferred Communities Programs as well as measurement of program outcomes. Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field of study required.
