Description

Coordinator of Service 8 Validation in the Italian Earth Observation National Project “IRIDE”, Projects Department (EOP-P) in the Directorate of Earth Observation Programmes.

Duties

You will report to the IRIDE Project Manager and will act as a single point of contact for all Service 8 validation activities conducted by designated external experts belonging to the Italian Army Forces, the Police, the Carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza and the Fire Brigade, as well as Intelligence representatives. You will contribute to the specification of the testing and performance of Service 8.


Your duties will include:

 

  • managing the development and ensuring the completion of all the individual services belonging to the Service 8 domain;
  • optimising the coherence of the system design – as far as Service 8 is concerned – with user requirements;
  • acting as the single point of contact for all external user interfaces for the purpose of testing and validating the various services within the Service 8 domain;
  • reporting on progress and proactively mitigating the related development risks.

Knowledge of industrial costs and schedule aspects

Education

A master’s in an engineering field or related subject is required for this post.

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
