Job Title: Consultant - Assistant Manager - Monitoring & Evaluation

Position Summary: Work closely with the AGM – M&E (DSHO) and assist in day to day MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) operations and co-ordinations with stakeholders. He/ she will consolidate, monitor progress achieved against pre-decided indicators pertaining to CRY objectives as part of CRY's M & E system. He/ she will generate disaggregated reports as required for various purposes.

Key responsibilities:
1. Generate reports from the MEAL software, provide a disaggregated analysis of the data in terms of location and socio-demographic profile.
2. Review prepare periodic reports on the quality of the national and regional data collected with regards to timeliness, completeness and quality of data collected as per MEAL guidelines.
3. Assist the project team with the available M&E tools and support them in its efficient use
4. Support in collating/ preparing national and regional reports related to internal reporting such as quarterly, half-yearly and annual reports
5. Work in close coordination with the regional M&E teams and IT to raise software related operational issues and follow through till resolution within the specified turnaround time
6. Prepare issue log and sync reports for the software data entry
7. Assist in surveys, assessments and studies by collating, data cleaning and ensure data readiness for analysis
8. Assist and work closely with the AGM, M&E (DSHO) to prepare narratives on the analysis of the data.
9. Support any national level research by preparing data collection tools, data collation and consolidation, desk level validation and data cleaning
10. Provide support to other functions in CRY on data and analysis as required
11. Support the supervisor in generating insights through analysis of program related data from regional team and partners in the region and undertake secondary data analysis on various themes as required from time to time.

Qualification: Degree in Social Sciences/Social Work/Statistics/ Population Studies. 3 to 5 years of experience in a Monitoring & Evaluation role in the development sector.

Skill sets required:
• Experience in data processing and management of large scale datasets
• Proficient in Advanced all MS tools like Excel, spreadsheets, Word processing, PPT etc
• Knowledge of Tableau/ SPSS/ other quantitative as well as qualitative software would be an added advantage
• Team Player with an orientation to play a supportive role
• Ability to communicate and document effectively in English
