Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW/SUMMARY: The data collectors will participate in a wide range of data collection activities, need assessment, observation, focus group discussions (FGD), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs),
support MEAL Activities within Sebha at their assignment areas, reporting daily findings to the Senior MEAL Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participation in collection activities needs assessment for baseline, mid-term, and end-line assessments, surveys, FGDs, and KIIs.
Support data collection for IRC program activities and community engagement.
Conduct data collection visits to project sites.
Ensure data quality during collection and entry.
Participate in training, data quality checks, and audits.
Enter and maintain accurate and confidential consultation data.
Report progress findings and maintain documentation.
Assist in data analysis and interpretation.

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Position Reports to Senior MEAL Officer in Tripoli
Position directly supervises: N/A
Indirect Reporting: N/A

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates who have Bachelor of Arts or Science in Social Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Demonstrated experience and capacity in conducting field-level data collection and some experience in data analysis.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated experience working with ICT tools, digital data collection and analysis.
Strong ability to work independently, organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity, and flexibility
INGO experience preferred.
Fluency in English and Arabic required.

Working Environment: 
The data collectors will be based in Sebha. They will oversee the data collection process in their respective areas of assignment.
