Job Title: Cluster Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing a team of healthcare workers within the assigned cluster.
• Coordinating TB case finding activities, ensuring adherence to recommended protocols.
• Facilitating collaboration between public health facilities, Team and other stakeholders involved in TB control.
• Supporting patients facing challenges in completing treatment, addressing issues like medication adherence, side effects, and social barriers.
• Liaising with healthcare providers to ensure proper diagnosis, treatment initiation, and timely completion.
• Maintaining accurate records of TB cases within the cluster.
• Compiling and submitting data on case finding, treatment initiation, treatment completion, and other relevant indicators to project leads.
• Preparing reports on TB activities within the cluster for project management and stakeholders.
• Contributing to training programs for healthcare workers within the cluster on TB diagnosis, case management, and infection control.
• Providing ongoing support and mentorship to healthcare workers on TB control best practices.
• Raising awareness about TB symptoms, prevention, and treatment options within the community.
• Addressing stigma associated with TB by working with community leaders and influencers.
• Mobilizing community support for TB control efforts.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to TB control within the cluster, such as case detection rates and treatment success rates.
• Identifying areas for improvement in TB control activities within the cluster.
• Contributing to program evaluation efforts conducted by the TB project.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or a related field is often preferred.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage and motivate the team.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community members, and government officials.
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges faced by TB patients and ensure treatment adherence.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative within the designated cluster.
