Vision: AMRAN vision is to see an Afghan society based on legitimate rights, equity, justice, honesty, social sensitivity and a culture of service in which all Afghans are self-reliant, employable, have self-worth and lead a dignified and productive life. Mission: AMRAN’s mission is to contribute in developing, upliftment and self-sustaining Afghan society through professional engagement in the sectors of Information Technology, Construction, Health, Education and community Development. Objectives: •To promote gender equality and empower women •To improve and accelerate the relief assistance to Afghanis through implementing useful projects by which needy population can contribute to the rehabilitation efforts. •To enable Afghans to access decent employment through promoting job oriented vocational and life skills training and get job placement •Engage with business houses and potential employers to sensitize them about promoting women friendly work environment where young girls can work with dignity. AMRAN Primary Focuses on: •Humanitarian Emergency Assistance •Water and Sanitation •Providing training Good Governance, Leadership, Conflict resolution and peace building. •Food distribution •Agricultural infrastructure and livestock •Vocational skills trainings and create employment opportunities •Protection/Human rights/child protection Health services

Context

Our mission is to contribute in developing, uplifting and self-sustaining Afghan society through professional engagement in the sectors of Information Technology, Construction, Health, Education, and Community Development. One of our initiative is "Sustainable Agriculture Programs" which aims to support the local communities with improved agricultural practices and address the malnutrition issues across vulnerable communities, and currently we are in the phase of identifying and securing partnerships and funding opportunities to support this initiative. To that end, we are seeking to collaborate with Online Volunteers through this assignment, especially on donor research and donor engagement strategy. As Online Volunteers, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network and resources to enhance the impact of our initiatives to improve agricultural practices and reduce malnutrition in vulnerable communities. Your efforts in building relationships and securing funding will directly contribute to the sustainability and success of our projects, enabling us to mobilize local and government resources effectively.

Task description

We are seeking dedicated Online Volunteers to assist in identifying and securing partnerships and funding opportunities to support our sustainable agriculture programs. Your role will include: To ensure the workload is manageable and effectively distributed among volunteers, the tasks will be divided among four Online Volunteers. Each volunteer will focus on specific aspects of the project, enhancing both efficiency and depth of engagement in securing partnerships and funding for our sustainable agriculture programs. Specifically, each volunteer's role will be: 1. Volunteer 1: Desk Research Task: Research potential donors, including foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other relevant entities that align with our mission of promoting sustainable agriculture and alleviating poverty. Objective: To build a comprehensive list of potential funding sources by identifying and understanding the interests and funding patterns of various donors. 2. Volunteer 2: Communications Support Task: Draft outreach and communication materials to engage potential donors and partners. Objective: To ensure that all communications effectively convey the mission and needs of our sustainable agriculture programs, thus maximizing engagement and support. 3. Volunteer 3: Analyzing Strategy Task: Coordinate with our team to align partnership and funding strategies with our program goals. Objective: To integrate the efforts of the research, and communications teams to streamline our fundraising strategy to the organization's objectives. 4. Volunteer 4: Support in Facilitating Progress and Meetings Task: Participate in virtual meetings and provide regular updates on progress and strategic insights. Objective: To maintain a clear line of communication among all volunteers and with the broader team, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of progress and are strategically aligned. Coordination between volunteers will be managed through WhatsApp group, Email, and Google Meet.
