Our organization, which identifies itself with this mission, is currently engaged in delivering health education, healthcare assistance, preventive healthcare services, as well as treatment and rehabilitation services, through volunteer healthcare professionals across various regions worldwide.
Context
This graphic design support role plays a crucial part in advancing our organization's goals by enhancing our visual communication efforts across various channels. As an organization dedicated to health assistance and quality healthcare in humanitarian aid, effective communication is essential to raise awareness, mobilize support, and take action towards our goals. Our organization is currently engaged in providing health assistance and delivering quality healthcare in humanitarian settings. We strive to improve access to essential health services, promote health education, and respond to emergencies with efficiency and compassion. Our ongoing projects include: The World Cataract Project: Providing surgical interventions and vision care to individuals affected by cataracts in underserved regions. The Orthotics/Prosthetics Project: Ensuring access to mobility aids and rehabilitation services for individuals with physical disabilities. The MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) Project: Offering psychological support and counseling to individuals affected by trauma and mental health challenges. The Women's Vocational Training Project: Empowering women through skills development and vocational training programs. The EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Project: Training and deploying emergency medical teams to respond to crises and disasters. Health services in Syria: Delivering essential healthcare services and medical assistance to populations affected by conflict and displacement in Syria.
Task description
The volunteer will primarily be tasked with providing graphic design support to our organization, focusing on creating posters and designing content for social media platforms. Here's a detailed breakdown of their responsibilities and the logistics involved: Poster Design: The volunteer will be entrusted with crafting captivating posters that effectively convey our organization's messages, events, campaigns, or initiatives. Close collaboration with team members will ensure a clear understanding of project requirements, target audience, and desired messaging. While maintaining adherence to our brand guidelines, the volunteer will infuse their designs with creativity and originality. Social Media Content Creation: In addition to poster design, the volunteer will contribute to the creation of engaging visual content for our social media platforms. This includes designing graphics, infographics, banners, cover photos, and other assets aligned with our social media strategy. As part of their responsibilities, the volunteer will create 10-15 captivating posters and develop 5 engaging visual content pieces to enhance our online presence and effectively communicate our organization's objectives."
