Overview of position

Under the overall supervision of the CS Project Officer and direct supervision of the CS Project Assistant, the Trainers will be responsible to develop and provide sessions on several type of topics including human development, communication and financial management topics to several groups of women in Sabha, Ubari and Ghat participating in the weekly Women’s Salon. The trainer will be responsible for developing training materials, conduct the sessions, providing report on the progress of the women.

Role objectives
  1. 1-Conduct training sessions on different topics decide in collaboration with the supervisor. Including human development, communication, financial management.

  2. 2-Utilize relevant adult learning techniques to ensure participants fully absorb all training content and reach learning outcomes by the end of the course. This includes a variety of practical exercises for participants.

  3. 3-Address all queries of training participants, track their attendance, conduct M&E activities

  4. 4-Develop an agenda in collaboration with IOM and in line with the participants needs.

  5. 5-Develop M&E tools and all relevant materials required for the training and obtain approval from supervisor for final version of training materials; undertake any modifications requested by IOM.

  6. 6-Coordinate with IOM field staff to immediately address any issues or concerns, and overall ensure the training is successfully implemented.

  7. Additional tasks related to selection of beneficiaries and follow up on training activities requested by IOM
