About the Role:
You will have delegated responsibility from the Country Director to manage human resources, Product, IT, Procurement & Logistics, Administration, and Special projects.
You will oversee the operations of these departments and aligning their work with the Country goals, and with our core programs of Sales and Agriculture. You will lead the planning and management of budgets and complex financial processes, and for our mission-critical work in procuring and delivering seeds and fertilizers to our farmers ahead of season. You will work with the Country Director and other colleagues in Senegal to identify and engage a growing portfolio of governmental partners that provide support for myAgro to accomplish our mission. You will report to the Country Director, and be based in the Thies, Senegal, office. #LI-Onsite
You will

Oversee staff in HR, product/IT, procurement and logistics and administration to execute processes and the calendar of activities within each of these departments and thereby support overall Country goals. Align with Sales and Agriculture to manage risks, improve outcomes and deliver joyous customer service to our farmers.

Implement clear, short and mid term improvements to the efficiency of Logistics, IT/Admin and HR operations in-country.

Delegate responsibly to ensure the most efficient implementation of a complex portfolio of activities.

Design and implement necessary strategic projects.

Act on behalf of the Country Director and represent myAgro in meetings with the government, donors and other important partners.

Step in on an interim or temporary basis to manage/ provide oversight of other country teams as directed by the Country Director.

Build a cohesive team where team members work together across departments.

Develop the capacity of the team, deepen understanding of their roles and assist with career development.

Assist team members with information and resources to improve performance and reach goals.

Promote accountability, communicate expectations and provide constructive feedback informally and formally through regular one on ones and performance reviews.

Encourage a work environment of mutual respect where team members excel
You Have:
-
Minimum of 5 years with P&L responsibility, leading an operations team (Finance, Logistics, HR, etc).

French and English fluency
-
Experience managing team managers and coaching them to improve performance and develop talent.

Experience with being process-oriented – You are a planner who can design systems or improve processes in a durable way.
