With immediate effect, our ICT department is looking for an:

 

HR ICT Architect

(Netherlands based)

 

We are seeking an experienced HR ICT Architect to lead the design and governance of our HR technology landscape. This role acts as a strategic partner to HR Landscape stakeholders while ensuring scalable, integrated, and innovative HR ICT solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in HR platforms such as Workday and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a strong background in enterprise architecture and ICT-business relationship management, while taking a look at the future of legacy HR systems in the landscape.

Main responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR and ICT, understanding business needs and translating them into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.

  • Define, maintain, and evolve the HR ICT architectural landscape, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business goals.

  • Lead solution design efforts for HR systems including, but not limited to, Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Learning platforms.

  • Provide architectural oversight on HR ICT projects and ensure consistent documentation, integration standards, and data governance practices.

  • Evaluate and recommend HR technology solutions that support digital transformation and process optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR systems with other enterprise applications.

  • Stay current on HR tech trends, vendor capabilities, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Support procurement, vendor selection, and contract negotiation for HR ICT platforms.

Candidate Profile

Experience and Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years focused on HR systems.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 for HR.

  • Proven experience in IT- HR partnership, solution architecture, and systems integration.

  • Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices.

  • Experience with cloud-based HR technologies and SaaS platforms.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Additional skills

  • Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) in relation to employee data.

  • Familiarity with integration tools and middleware platforms (e.g., Azure Integration Services, Boomi, Workday Studio).

  • Knowledge of agile project methodologies and tools.

  • Workday experience is a strong asset.

  • Clear and effective communication skills to liaise between HR, IT, and other stakeholders.

  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for detail.

We offer

A full-time appointment (based on a 40-hours workweek) for one year with renewal of the contract based on satisfactory performance appraisal.

A gross monthly salary in scale 17 with a current salary range between €4,875 - €6,711 gross per month. The exact salary depends on relevant work experience.
