We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Grants Manager to step in and support our team during a maternity cover. This is a opportunity to contribute to our mission of strengthening women’s rights worldwide as well as an opportunity to learn and develop with us.

About the job

As our Grants Manager, you will play a key role in securing and managing funding for our programs. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that monitoring and reporting is in accordance with contractual obligations and with Kvinna till Kvinna policies and guidelines. You will monitor funding opportunities and coordinate and contribute to project proposals and budgets. You will also support anti-corruption measures and strategic planning.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and monitoring funding opportunities
  • Coordinating and contributing to project proposals and budgets for donors
  • Ensuring compliance with donor requirements and contractual obligations
  • Coordinating annual planning and grant reporting
  • Conducting budget follow-ups and quality assurance
  • Engaging in anti-corruption measures

 

About you

We’re looking for a structured, analytical, and proactive professional who thrives in an international environment. You enjoy managing multiple projects, have an eye for detail, and understand the complexities of grant management in the nonprofit sector. You are responsible and you have good time management to be able to meet deadlines. Great cooperation ability and adaptability is important.

You need to have:

  • A relevant academic degree (e.g., political science, international relations, development studies, peace and conflict, gender studies, human rights, or law)
  • At least five years of relevant work experience, including two years in international development cooperation
  • Knowledge of project and results management
  • Experience in budgeting and budget follow-ups for development projects
  • Experience in securing grants and donor reporting
  • Strong understanding of donor compliance regulations
  • Fluency in French and English is required

Merits:

  • Knowledge of Swedish and/or EU development cooperation
  • Experience working with institutional donors
  • Experience working in the regions where we operate
  • Knowledge of gender, conflict, and human rights in development cooperation
