We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This is more than a financial leadership role—it's an opportunity to directly shape the future of a global nonprofit. The CFO will play a mission-critical role in driving strategic growth, financial excellence, and operational impact, ensuring the sustainability of CI’s transformative work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support sustainable growth and maximize global impact.
  • Lead all aspects of financial operations, including controllership, budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the President & CEO and the Board of Directors to drive innovation and align financial frameworks with organizational goals.
  • Embrace digital transformation and leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency and long-term planning.
  • Mentor and lead a talented team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including experience as a CFO or VP Finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; MBA preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, planning, and analysis, with a tech-savvy approach to scaling financial systems.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and experience in both nonprofit and private-sector environments.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) and ability to travel internationally.
