About this position

The Human Resources Department’s Leadership and Employee Development Division (HRD/LDV)has established different profiles and functions among the members of its team to support the needs analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of different solutions to the learning and development needs of the Institution’s employees.

HRD/LDV formulates and implements programs to maximize the intellectual capital of the organization, obtain the necessary skills mix, and promote talent based on results and performance. The Leadership Development portfolio includes several programs tailored to the needs of the organization.

Thus, HRD/LDV is looking for an experienced, organized, and dynamic consultant who will contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the products and services that LDV offers to the IDB Group, mainly in the areas of the Leadership Development, Mentoring and Career Services.

What you’ll do

  • Provide administrative support to all face-to-face and virtual Leadership programs abiding to EST time zone.
  • Managing all platforms used by leadership programs: MS Office 365—including Excel and MS Teams, ServiceNow (SNOW), SuccessFactors (LMS-Learning Management System), Survey Monkey, Dashboards, Gallup Strengths, Mentimeter, Mentoring Platform, etc.
  • Coordination of the pre-program communications with participants, including logistical tasks and assessments. Administration, monitoring and data management of assessment tools, reports and creating job aids.
  • Provide budget and financial management assistance and collecting data for charge backs.
  • Develop and maintain communications with leadership program’s stakeholders.
  • Provide support in the development of special projects by conducting research, needs assessments, and data analysis, making recommendations for possible learning solutions, tracking progress, creating reports, and sending communications.
  • Engage and make recommendations on leadership programs’ process improvement and innovations by identifying and recommending high-quality, automated, timely, accurate, and relevant process improvements, tools, solutions, and/or templates to improve efficiencies.
  • Carry out other tasks required for leadership programs’ logistical, reporting, and/or academic purposes, as indicated by the Program Leaders.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required (master’s preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or any related field.  

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in similar functions.

Project coordination/management, Data administration, reporting, basic statistics, and analytics tools as well as budget planning. Highly skilled in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SharePoint, ezShare, OneDrive, Teams, ServiceNow, SuccessFactors-LMS, Survey Monkey, and Canva. Working knowledge of virtual and audiovisual technology. Ability to troubleshoot audiovisual/technological issues is a plus. Advanced Level of Excel (Expertise in formulas and functions, data visualization and analysis, pivot tables and charts, VLookUp, concatenate, data management and cleaning, among others)

Languages: Full Professional Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Spanish is desirable. Additional knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is a plus.

     You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries and has residency or legal permit to work,
  

•    Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
 

Type of contract and duration

  National Consultant (Local Remote Modality), 12 months (up to 36 months).
