The MSF-Netherlands/Operating Centre Amsterdam (OCA) recruitment team provides recruitment services for support functions based at our head office in Amsterdam, as well as for different medical and non-medical positions for our country programs. We aim to identify, attract and acquire talent needed to achieve our goals and fulfill our mission of offering medical humanitarian where needed.
We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join our team of 4 recruiters. In this role you will develop and maintain insights into the labour market and be a trusted partner to our hiring managers. Your strong network and creative approach, to reach relevant communities and professionals will result in successful hires for our organisation. In addition, you will also be part of a larger team that includes career specialists for staff in our country programs.
Our team is responsible for recruitment for our office in Amsterdam, as well as recruitment for colleagues that are send to our country programs. Finally, our team support local recruitment in our country programs.
Responsibilities
In this role you will craft job profiles together with hiring managers, advising on outreach and recruitment platforms and channels and lead a full-service recruitment process, remaining a focal point for stakeholders on processes, policies and procedures. You will connect closely with applicants, actively sourcing using various channels and platforms, including LinkedIn, identifying suitable candidates, and following through on all steps of the recruitment process. You will act as an ambassador for MSF by hosting in-office events and webinars and build your network by attending relevant events at professional bodies within The Netherlands. MSF is currently implementing a new HRIS system, you will play a role in supporting and guiding your stakeholders in the new system.
You will have an active role in improving the quality of our processes, and bring in your expertise. Besides recruitment of our office in Amsterdam, you will support recruitment in our country programs, including embedding safeguarding and DEI practices in recruitment processes.
What we are looking for
You have/or are willing to build a prominent community on various platforms and act as a brand ambassador
Proven stakeholder management skills guiding hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment processes from application to hire, acting as lead during interview processes
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, and embedding this in your work
Ability to work independently, yet being a valued part of our team, contributing towards shared team goals
Experience with recruitment ATS system and familiarity with HR metrics, data and reporting.
Fluent in English
MSF experience is a prerequisite
Experience in The Netherlands and good insight into platforms and channels to attract applicants is considered an asset
You are willing to travel to country programs
We offer
If based in the Netherlands
A 12-month Dutch employment contract based on 40 hours per week.
A gross monthly salary range between 3,743 and 5,153 euros depending on relevant work experience, based on a fulltime appointment. Unfortunately, due to the salary threshold, we won’t be able to relocate candidates for the role.
If based in another country with an MSF contracting office, the local salary grid and labour law will apply.
