Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the ARRSO and in coordination with the Field Registration teams, the Consultant will be responsible for supporting the smooth and timely rollout of the digital identity verification (DIV) process across UNRWA Area Offices in the West Bank. In particular, the consultant will:  • Facilitate the submission of DIV requests by assisting refugees in completing all necessary steps accurately and efficiently, ensuring that daily targets are met.  • Guide refugees through the digital identity verification process, including logging into or creating an e-UNRWA account, verifying personal information, capturing a live photo, and uploading any required documents.  • Proactively inform and sensitize refugees visiting registration centres about the purpose, benefits, and procedures of the digital identity verification activity.  • Provide individualized technical support to refugees encountering difficulties with digital tools or connectivity during the submission process.   • Assist in account creation and troubleshooting, including password recovery, mobile verification, and linking accounts to valid registration records.  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of data before submission, helping refugees review and confirm their entries to minimize rejections or rework.  • Organize and manage queues and flow of visitors to optimize time and maintain an orderly process during busy periods.   • Identify and refer complex or exceptional cases (e.g., mismatched data, system errors, or persons with specific protection concerns) to registration staff for follow-up.   • Record daily progress and feedback, including the number of submissions supported, key challenges, and recommendations for improving the process.  • Ensure adherence to data protection principles and always maintain strict confidentiality of personal information at all times.
Qualifications/special skills
completion of 2 years diploma of Business administration, public administration, or any other related field. 2 years in related field is required
