Our team and mission
The ESA BASS programme provides different types of funding opportunities including kick-starts, feasibility studies and demonstration projects. These all aim to support the development of sustainable applications and commercial opportunities available to businesses located within our ESA member states. The B2B Marketing team is responsible for crafting and promoting a wide range of campaigns to both space and non-space audiences. In particular, the team’s remit is to raise awareness amongst non-space sector companies who may never have considered using space-based assets (satellite technology and data, Earth observation imagery etc.) or space-enabled services (GPS, SatNav, weather or climate monitoring etc.). The aim is to attract companies that are new to the BASS programme. In order to do this, the B2B Marketing and Communications team develops a variety of content assets that are being promoted via a number of channels such as our B2B websites, social media platforms, online and in-person events etc.
