Field(s) of activity for the internship
Within the Navigation Directorate, the management and administrative assistant role is crucial for ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting the team effectively.
The Internship aims to give candidates valuable hands-on experience in addressing real-world challenges in project coordination, internal communication and office management within a dynamic and multicultural setting.
You can choose between the following topics:
1) Topic 1: Enhancing internal Communication and collaboration Tools.
The objective is to assess and improve the internal communication channels and collaboration tools used within the office, ensuring they support efficient workflows and team engagement.
Expected outcome:
A report with actionable recommendations and a toolkit that enhances internal communication and supports project coordination.
2) Topic 2: Optimising Administrative Workflows Using AI tools.
The objective is to explore and implement AI-powered solutions that streamline repetitive administrative tasks, improve data handling, and enhance decision-making in project and office management.
Expected outcome:
A practical framework and set of recommendations for using AI to reduce manual workload, improve accuracy, and support smarter project coordination.

Education
You must be a university student, preferably studying at master’s level. In addition, you must be able to prove that you will be enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another ESA Member State language is an asset.
