Topic of the internship: NAV-SP Unclassified automatic documentation processing tool
In the Navigation Directorate's activities, the processing of unclassified documentation is very manpower-intensive.
Your aim in this internship position is to develop a tool for the processing of unclassified data-packs in an automated manner.
The objective of this activity is to employ artificial intelligence technology to automate configuration control checks that are currently performed manually.
The internship project involves developing an AI model capable of operating in the ESA Cloud, which can analyse whether the document complies with the Configuration and Data Management requirements for each project managed by the Navigation Directorate.

Education
You must be a university student, preferably studying at master’s level. In addition, you must be able to prove that you will be enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another ESA Member State language is an asset.
During the interview, your motivation for applying to this role will be explored.
The following criteria would be considered assets:
- basic knowledge or training in information security and auditing aspects;
- knowledge of software development.
