Mothers Without Borders (MWB) seeks a visionary, relationship-driven leader to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer. MWB’s mission is to increase resilience and build self-sufficiency in Zambia by empowering the most vulnerable women, youth, and children through holistic community development. Grounded in three pillars—Protecting and Nurturing Children, Educating Children and Youth, and Empowering Youth and Women—MWB currently reaches more than 34,000 people across 30 communities in Zambia.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will guide MWB’s strategic direction, strengthen alignment between U.S. operations and Zambian programs, and ensure the organization’s continued growth and impact. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, compassionate leader with a proven record in nonprofit leadership, major gift fundraising, and cross-cultural engagement.

Key priorities include leading a talented global team, cultivating and stewarding donors and partners, ensuring financial sustainability, and advancing locally led, sustainable solutions that protect and uplift families. The CEO will also serve as MWB’s chief ambassador—building visibility, fostering partnerships, and championing Zambian leadership on the international stage.

This is a full-time, fully remote U.S.-based position with an annual salary range of $125,000–$150,000, health and retirement benefits, and approximately three trips per year to Zambia.
