These are your responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and overall management to the Humanitarian Project Management Team
- Oversee assigned humanitarian projects and partnerships
- Coordinate and supervise the development of new Inclusive Humanitarian Action (IHA) projects at national, regional, and global levels
- Ensure effective coordination with internal stakeholders, as the Programme Development & Implementation Division, Finance and Administration teams, Institutional Donors & Business Development and CBM Country Offices
- Ensure continuous technical advisory support throughout all phases of project and programme implementation, currently focusing on Ukraine, Western Africa, Bangladesh and Myanmar
- Align humanitarian MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) processes and tasks closely with CBM’s global MERLA unit
- Represent CBM in targeted humanitarian networks and alliances, strengthening CBM’s reputation in inclusive humanitarian action, and towards domestic and international institutional donors
- Lead targeted capacity building for CBM partners, Country Offices, and internal teams
Participate and contribute into the Humanitarian Initiatives leadership team
These are your qualifications
- University degree in humanitarian action, development, political sciences or a related field
- Profound understanding of standards and principles in the humanitarian sector and the application in the project management cycle and humanitarian coordination mechanisms
- Personnel Management and leadership experience in the humanitarian sector desired
- Extensive project development experience
- Structured, quality- and solution-oriented approach to work
- Very good knowledge of English and German, additional language skills (especially French or Ukrainian) are an advantage
- Willingness to travel to humanitarian contexts, including those presenting security challenges
- Identification with the Christian values and the mandate of CBM
