Malteser International in Ukraine is seeking an Logistics Assistant/Driver for its office in Kyiv to support the current and planned program implementation activities in Ukraine.
International Kyiv office’s day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks as assigned by the line manager. The job will also be responsible for driving Malteser International’s vehicle and the safe transport of staff and assets.
Your responsibilities:
As the Logistics Assistant/Driver, your main responsibilities will be:
- Support procurement by collecting quotations, preparing bid comparisons, and ensuring complete documentation.
- Maintain supplier and price databases, conduct market surveys, and track purchase orders.
- Assist with asset registration, labeling, and regular inventory updates.
- Manage stock movements, conduct periodic checks, and report discrepancies.
- Support daily vehicle operations, maintenance scheduling, and fuel tracking.
- Ensure all vehicle and driver documentation is current and properly filed.
- Assist with office and guesthouse management, utilities, and service coordination.
- Manage office supplies, correspondence, and filing systems.
- Support meetings, travel, and accommodation logistics for staff and visitors.
- Perform clerical tasks and ensure a well-organized, professional office environment.
Your profile:
Your profile:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (International/National NGO experience will be preferred);
- Valid driving license;
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in insecure environments;
- Some practical experience in vehicle maintenance;
- A proactive and flexible approach to work;
- Ukrainian speaking and good knowledge of English Language (written and spoken) is required.
What we offer:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duty Station: Kyiv/Ukraine with frequent travel to other oblasts
- Duration of contract:Until 30.06.2025 (with the possibility to extend)
- Medical insurances, PSS.
- Salary according to qualification and experience, starting from 54000 UAH gross.
