For more information about the digital euro project, please visit the hub page on the ECB’s website.
The Positioning and Outreach Division aims to foster public understanding of, and trust in, the digital euro and is responsible for designing, developing and executing the positioning and outreach strategy and plan.
In your role as a Communication Expert, you will be part of the Engagement and Insights team, which is responsible for shaping the narrative surrounding the digital euro project through research, strategy and internal coordination. The team directs clear, consistent and data-driven communication by developing core content and messaging, managing web publishing and delivering insights and analytics on audience perceptions and campaign performance. It also supports strategic planning, disinformation response, and coordination across communication workstreams, ensuring that the Eurosystem speaks with one voice. The team works closely with the Eurosystem via a dedicated communication work group of euro area national central banks.
The ECB is an inclusive employer and we strive to reflect the diversity of the population we serve. We encourage you to apply irrespective of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or other characteristics.
Your role
As one of our two new Communication Experts, focusing primarily on either positioning analytics or audience insights, you will:
Positioning analytics
- define and implement brand and product marketing analytics frameworks and a marketing funnel strategy with clear KPIs;
- introduce a multi-touchpoint attribution model and build robust dashboards and models that drive marketing decisions;
- synthesise product usage data and campaign performance;
- translate analytics into clear narratives, for example by developing enablement materials and giving presentations to senior managers;
Audience insights
- design and manage audience research activities, surveys, key opinion formers perceptions, focus groups and message testing exercises;
- analyse quantitative and qualitative data, providing actionable insights to refine content, campaigns and engagement plans;
- manage relationships with external research agencies and present findings to internal stakeholders.
The positions offer you excellent opportunities to shape people’s understanding of the digital euro by combining strategic positioning with data-driven insights. You will provide advanced analytics, audience research and product usage data that will guide go-to-market strategies. You will design impactful campaigns and hone narratives for senior decision-makers. You will be part of a multicultural team that strives for continuous innovation to make a positive impact on the lives of European citizens.
