Do you want to create new insights and support the development of an organization that helps displaced people around the world? Danish Refugee Council (DRC) are looking for two new colleagues to support the need for ongoing analysis and insights in a changing geopolitical environment.
Who are we?
DRC operates in around 35 countries around the globe with very different and changing contextual circumstances. The headquarters are located in Copenhagen and consists of 5 departments: People and Organization (P&O) ,Partnerships, Advocacy, Engagement and Resource Mobilization (PAER) , Strategy, Programming & Results (SPR), General Secretariat (GS) and Finance, Risk, IT, Supply chain and Commercial contracts (FRISC). The open positions are placed in the FRISC department. The FRISC department is supporting our countries and HQ departments and consist of approximately 110-120 employees from many different nationalities located around the Globe, working closely with our peers in country offices.
About the job
With reference directly to the Executive Director for Global Finance, Global Risk and Compliance, Global IT, Global Supply Chain and Commercial Contracts and Fund management, you will join a small analytical development team of three people that will work closely with the rest of the organization:
- Conducting high priority ad hoc strategic or analytical tasks
- Perform ad hoc project management and coordination in global development projects
- Participate in ad hoc optimization of tools, processes and procedures
- Do ad hoc data analysis to create more insight and better decision support
Besides, the analytical development team that you will be joining, the secretary of the Executive Director consists of one executive assistant.
About you

You have an academic background as data analyst or from mathematics, economics or social science areas at master’s degree level and can be newly educated or experienced from similar positions.
Moreover, we expect the following:

- Solid data knowledge and understanding
- Analytical mindset and ease in identifying trends and critical issues
- Comprehensive understanding of finance
- Good at using tools for analytics and handling data
- Results – and detail oriented
- Good at relationship building and time management
- Good in communicating findings and transforming complexity into easy understandable oversight
- Good at handling changing tasks, contents and addapting to needs for ad hoc analysis
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Danish, French, or Arabic is a plus
Desirable
- Experience with ERP systems (especially Dynamics) would be a plus
- Experience with project management would be a plus

You will be working out of our newly refurbish headquarters at Lyngbyvej 100, 2100 København Ø, just by Ryparken Station.
Salary and conditions will depend on your experience and will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and the AC organization. This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
